the attractive market town of Bala with a small supermarket and
a choice of local shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés, craft
shops and art gallery. Bala stands at the head of its beautiful
lake (Lyn Tegid in Welsh) on which you can fish, sail, canoe, or
admire the views from the narrow-gauge railway running down one
side.
